Note: It is not advisable to use ISL Conference Proxy installation directories for storing server-side session recordings, as that may cause disruptions in server functionality (e.g., automatic updates). We advise using a separate volume for storing session recordings.
Storage areas
Define and manage server side storage areas used by product (e.g. server side session recording)
Create new storage area (press to create a new storage area)
- Name (user defined name of storage area)
- Server (server where storage area is located)
- Type (type of storage: filesystem or windows_network_drive)
- Path (user defined path to storage area on server. E.g storage://isllight/recordings)
Show deleted
Clicking on the "Show deleted" option will show the deleted storage areas which have not yet been permanently removed. Such storage areas were marked for deletion, for all intents and purposes they are treated as deleted, however there is a grace period during which they can be restored. Select the storage areas you wish to restore and click the "Undelete selected" button to undelete them.
Setting "Keep deleted data available for undelete" controls the length of the grace period and is located under the Deleted data settings section.
Edit storage area
- Name (user defined name of storage area)
- Server (user selected server number for location of storage area)

Type (type of storage: filesystem or windows network drive)
- Username (only applicable if windows network drive storage type is selected - access username for network drive)
- Password (only applicable if windows network drive storage type is selected - access password for network drive)
- Path (user defined path to storage area on server. E.g storage://isllight/recordings)
Save
Remove storage area (check box and press button to delete the storage area)
