On 24th November 2010 we released:
- ISL Light Client 3.3.1 (2010-11-24) for Windows
- ISL Light Desk 3.3.1 (2010-11-24) for Windows
- Desktop Control 1.3.1 (2010-11-24) for Windows
This release has been removed from hosted service and server license as it contains a critical problem with high CPU usage on Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 systems.
Upgrading to new version
Please visit http://www.isllight.com and start ISL Light Desk or ISL Light Client from new version tab.
Upgrades are free of charge for ISL Online Server License users with active Extended Support Service. ISL Online Server License users with expired Extended Support Service are welcome to purchase Extended Support Service in order to gain access to the newly released ISL Online Server system. In case you have extended ESS you will need to create new license file and upload it to your ISL Conference Proxy server.
Quick Instructions for users with ISL Conference Proxy 3.1 installed
- open web administration of ISL Conference Proxy http://localhost:7615/conf
- login using admin account
- click Online update link in left navigation
- click Apply changes if you have automatic install

On Windows with 16-bit displays the 32-bit bitmaps are not shown. This resulted in hidden icons in ISL Light GUI button icons.

When selecting ISSC dual color selection there was no change in picture quality.
[ISLLIGHT-17] - ISL Light - change default of "stream in best quality" to unchecked check box More
The default selection should be High Speed.

Mouse cursor on remote side was corrupted when viewing applications with special cursors.

When connecting to a computer with dual monitor setup and high resolution 2560x1600 per monitor. The reason was that buffer size was too small.
[ISLLIGHT-18] - ISL Light - crash when starting ISL View on CPUs with no SSE2 support More
When CPU had no support for SSE2 desktop sharing crashed ISL Light. New ISL Light Client and Desk programs check for plugin CPU requirement and they will load older desktop sharing plugin in case CPU has no support for SSE2.

In some situations when the connection is reconnecting and a plugin is not fully downloaded the download does not resume after reconnection. This caused that desktop sharing stopped after Windows session was restarted.

ISSC not enabled on 16-bit displays More
Windows with 16-bit display did not stream with ISSC even if new codec was selected.

When switching between monitors and whole desktop, the monitor that has negative screen coordinates takes long time to update.
Mouse cursor on multi monitor is odd More
The system with multiple monitors shows white mouse cursor.
Dragging window on multi monitor display causes artefacts More
On system with different monitors will cause artefacts when some window is dragged over the region that is not displayed on physical desktop.
