- ISL Groop 3.0.1 for Macintosh (release_date=2014-02-04, revision=32598, platform=mac, os_version=0xa0600-0xaffff)
All updates have release date set to 2014-02-04. Your ESS will need to be same or higher to be able to update your server. This release is available to all countries except Japan.

ISL Groop - Desktop Linux - Show a notification when audio playback or capture device is unavailable [ISLGROOP-350] More
DescriptionWhen a capture or playback device is not available in ISL Groop application for Linux ( device is used in another program), a red triangle notification will be displayed next to the affected participant. Hovering over notification will reveal whether the capture or playback device is unavailable.
ISL Groop - Desktop - Linux screen sharing improvement [ISLGROOP-376] More
DescriptionScreen sharing functionality on Linux was redesigned and it uses shared memory for screen grabbing which results in better performance.
Defect fixes
ISL Groop - Desktop - Crash when trying to edit a text box with unknown font [ISLGROOP-351] More
DescriptionUsers may have experienced crash of ISL Groop when editing text on a slide. The issue was that the fonts are not cross-platform compatible and in case a user was trying to edit a text which had unknown fonts on that platform, the application crashed. Text editing functionality was redesigned, in case the font is not found on the system it automatically switches to the default font.
The defect was fixed.
ISL Groop - Desktop - (Win) high DPI issues - wrong position of application sharing border and controls not scaled [ISLGROOP-352] More
DescriptionUsers who have their desktop setting set to high DPI have experienced some corrupt layout issues with ISL Groop. Support for high DPI desktops has been redesigned, layout should no longer be corrupted.
The defect was fixed.
ISL Groop - Desktop Linux - RenderWidget using OpenGL does not work [ISLGROOP-358] More
DescriptionOn system with Nvidia's proprietary drives slides were drawn as black squares. OpenGL was not correctly rendering the slides. Check for rendering of the slides was added to the application. In case the the OpenGL rendering fails it will fall back to software rendering. Clients should no longer see black squares.
The defect was fixed.
ISL Groop - Desktop - you can make recording that crashes ISL Player [ISLGROOP-360] More
DescriptionUsers who recorded ISL Groop meeting may have problems when viewing the recording in ISL Player (Application may have crashed). The cause of the issue was that when starting the meeting recording the image encoder was not properly initialized. Image encoder is now properly initialized at the start of the recording.
The defect was fixed.
ISL Groop - Desktop - Can not start recording [ISLGROOP-361] More
DescriptionUsers were not able to start recording in some cases. That was because the last recording saving location was stored. In case the user did not have permission to go to that folder the recording did not start. The default saving location is now changed, recordings are saved in folder Documents.
The defect was fixed.
ISL Groop - Desktop - Fix video shutdown sequence on exit [ISLGROOP-379] More
DescriptionISL Groop application sometimes crashed when client exited the meeting and the video was enabled prior to leaving the meeting. There was a timing issue when the application was shutting down video stream and exiting the meeting. The application exit sequence was redesigned, application should no longer crash when leaving the meeting.
The defect was fixed.
ISL Groop - Desktop - Missing translations [ISLGROOP-392] More
DescriptionSome texts inside ISL Groop application were missing translations. All texts are now correctly translated.
The defect was fixed.
ISL Groop - Desktop - Sharing large screens crashes client [ISLGROOP-405] More
DescriptionISL Groop application crashed in case the user was using desktop sharing and the update of the desktop was bigger then 1 MB. In that case the image update exceeded the image update buffer which was limited to 1 MB. Buffer has now been redesigned and does not have any limitation, updates larger then 1 MB will not crash ISL Groop application.
The defect was fixed.
