Update availability

All updates have release date set to 2016-04-15. Your ESS will need to be same or higher to be able to update your server. This release is available to all countries except Japan.

ISL Conference Proxy 4.2.6 uses Libs4

This are server side updates so hosted service users do not need to do anything.

Description

Updated internal OpenSSL library to latest version 1.0.1s due to security reasons.

ISL Conference Proxy - Core - Add webapi call utils/notification/get/list/1 (FEATURE) [ISLCONFPROXY-936] More

Description

ISL Conference Proxy is now able to handle notifications. There are new setting which can be found in ISL Conference Proxy configuration page under "Configuration -> Advanced -> Integration":

- "Use external WebAPI for notification", default is "No".

- "External WebAPI notification parameters", empty by default.

If external WebAPI server is not configured, you will receive an empty notifications array, as ISL Conference Proxy currently does not support any notifications.

ISL Conference Proxy - Core - add option to disable block allocator cache for netbuf (port to old versions) (FEATURE) [ISLCONFPROXY-959] More

Description

It is now possible to enable or disable netbuf cache using the following files, which must be placed in the ISL Conference Proxy installation directory and don't need to contain any content:

- "netbuf_cache" - enables cache. Overrides "no_netbuf_cache".

- "no_netbuf_cache" - disables cache.

By default, cache is enabled.

ISL Conference Proxy - Core - Transfer rates do not show correct data in some cases and will internally cause memory leak (DEFECT) [ISLCONFPROXY-700] More

Description

Transfer rates in ISL Conference Proxy configuration page did not show correct data and in some cases stopped working due to memory leak. Counters which monitor transfer rates were redesigned, they should no longer cause leaking of memory and should show correct transfer rates on web interface.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Conference Proxy - Core - Leak in OpenSSL ERR_clear_error (DEFECT) [ISLCONFPROXY-952] More

Description

In some cases when connection was established through HTTPS there was a small memory leak on SSL error. The issue was that ISL Conference Proxy did not correctly clear that error. Clearing error of SSL was redesigned and there should be no leak anymore.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Conference Proxy - Core - Transfer rates are not shown in single server setup (DEFECT) [ISLCONFPROXY-960] More

Description

If users navigated to Transfer rates webpage which is located in ISL Conference Proxy configuration, those rates were not displayed in single ISL Conference Proxy server setup. Showing transfer rates functionality on single server setup was redesigned, rates should now be displayed.

The defect was fixed.

ISL Conference Proxy - Core - Creating/deleting threads makes heap and working set larger on Windows (DEFECT) [ISLCONFPROXY-961] More

Description

Creating and deleting threads after a timeout lead to high memory usage in Windows. Instead, threads are now part of a thread pool which does not delete created threads.

This defect was fixed.

ISL AlwaysOn

ISL AlwaysOn - Module - Change v3 page to use API instead of array of computers and change refresh to use /utils/echo (FEATURE) [ISLALWAYSON-950] More

Description

The ISL AlwaysOn user webpage shows a list of computers. In the previous version the list used to show a limited amount of computers per page (20, 50, or 100), it has now been redesigned to feature infinite scrolling.

ISL AlwaysOn - Module - Add the option to perform a search by group name, tag name, granted access, ownership (FEATURE) [ISLALWAYSON-955] More

Description

ISL AlwaysOn web interface search was redesigned and now includes filtering of computers based on group name, tag name, granted access and ownership.

ISL AlwaysOn - Module - Several untranslated strings (DEFECT) [SLALWAYSON-936] More

Description

Users may have found some untranslated texts on ISL AlwaysOn web interface. Those texts were recorded and should be now shown in correct language.

The defect was fixed.

ISL AlwaysOn - Module - Fix and simplify shared computers search functionality (DEFECT) [SLALWAYSON-948] More

Description

The setting "Use grouping and connection sharing functionality" and the connected "User (as guest) can share connection with owner in same domain" and "User (as guest) can share connection with owner on same server" settings were not specific enough, resulting in too many restrictions.

When sharing is disabled, the following changes can be observed in ISL AlwaysOn module 4.3.0:

- The call "islalwayson/computer/search/2" now also includes shared computers.

- The call "islalwayson/computer/update/2" now performs a check on whether sharing is disabled. The check is always performed if parameter "set" is provided, but is skipped if parameters "add" and "del" are empty.

- The call "islalwayson/computer/migrate/1" does not check whether sharing is disabled anymore, but the current user must be a member of the destination group.

This defect was fixed.

ISL AlwaysOn - Module - edit computer functionality is NOT available to user if owner of computer is group after successfull migrate call (DEFECT) [SLALWAYSON-958] More

Description

Users who moved computer to a group were no longer able to edit that computer. The issue was that by moving computer, the computer gets new owner ( group ). Editing computers that are part of a group ( and user is the owner of the group ) was redesigned, users are now able to edit computer that are in a group if user is owner of the group.

The defect was fixed.

ISL AlwaysOn - Module - Migrate cannot resolve this user (DEFECT) [SLALWAYSON-1003] More

Description

Users may have experienced inability to move computer from user defined group to All computers group. The issue was that migration procedure could not resolve user thus unable to migrate owner from group back to user. Migrating from group back to user owner was redesigned, user should now be able to move computer from user defined group to All computers group.

ISL Groop

ISL Groop - Module -  User drops out of session if another user uses the same join link (DEFECT)[ISLGROOP-789] More

Description

ISL AlwaysOn sends a custom field to server, where it is stored to the database. The custom field values can be observed at Activity Monitor -> Sessions -> Active -> ISL AlwaysOn. By default, this field isn't indexed. To index this field, set "islalwayson_custom_field_index=1" in the dboptions file.

ISL Groop - Module - User waiting for host to start wont join the session (DEFECT) [ISLGROOP-808] More

Description

If user wanted to join a meeting before the host started the meeting, Waiting for host to start the meeting dialog was shown. Even if host joined the meeting, ISL Groop did not connect to session. Sending command to join session for waiting clients was redesigned, and users should now automatically join the meeting when host starts the session.

The defect was fixed.
