How to use the integration

 

Step 1

Head to a Freshdesk ticket where you would like to initiate a Remote Desktop session.

Step 2

In the right sidebar, click on the ISL Light app.

Step 3

In order to start the session you have to log in to your ISL Online account first. Click the authorize button and log in to your ISL Online account.

Step 4

Once  authorization is done, a new button is displayed. Click Start Session. This will download an executable, which you will need to run.

Step 5

ISL Light opens, a session will automatically start. You can use the “Invite via Email” feature in the sidebar application to send an email invitation to your client directly from the Freshdesk ticket. Your client can click the link in the invitation email to join the session, and you can support your client via ISL Light.

Step 6

Once the session has ended, the Freshdesk application will automatically populate the notes with the session information. Make sure to click “Add Note” to submit this to the ticket.
