Note: This procedure is intended for advanced users only. Please refer to this chapter for normal installation instructions.
Please follow the appropriate instructions, depending on your server's operating system.
Windows
We will use c:\proxy as an example.
- Download the latest ZIP file with updates and save it into c:\proxy\install_zip
- Download the latest ISL Conference Proxy installation file (currently it is ISL_Conference_Proxy_4_x_x_win32.exe).
- Put the licence file (confproxy-4-x.license) into c:\proxy
- Open cmd.exe and run: ISL_Conference_Proxy_4_x_x_win32.exe /VERYSILENT /DIR="c:\proxy"
Linux
ISL Conference Proxy is always installed into /var/confproxy.
Note: If you would like to install it somewhere else (e.g. you do not have enough space on /var or you would like to use some other partition as the target etc.), you can create a symbolic link so that /var/confproxy points to the destination of your choice.
- Download the latest ZIP file with updates and save it into /var/confproxy/install_zip
- Download the latest ISL Conference Proxy installation file (currently it is ISL_Conference_Proxy_4_x_x_linux.bin).
- Put the licence file (confproxy-4-x.license) into /var/confproxy
- Open the terminal and run: sh ISL_Conference_Proxy_4_x_x_linux.bin
