Remote Printing

Under "Remote Printing" section you can configure your local printer to be shared with the other side (operator using ISL Light Desk), meaning that the operator can print on your local printer directly from their machine.

Important: Remote printing is available only when connecting to ISL Light Client using ISL Light Desk (Legacy / Previous Version).

Note: In the new verison of ISL Light the remote printing functionality is not supported. To print remote files on your local printer use the File Transfer feature to send the file to the operator and they can print it on their side.

Note: The intended use-case for this feature was for the Operator (using ISL Light Desk) to share their local printer with the client (using ISL Light Client), so that when a document is printed on the client's side, the operator would receive the print job on their local printer. Step-by-step guide is available for ISL Light Desk. However, the procedure is the same if performed on the ISL Light Clien't side.
